Moving Tips

Make a list

Make sure your list contains the items that you need on a daily basis, these theoretically should be everyday items like clothes, kitchen utensils, toiletries. These should be packed into your removal truck last....so they are the first ones unpacked.

Have plenty of supplies

Boxes, boxes, boxes, tape, tape, tape, you WILL need plenty of these for your move. Local supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury & Asda have an abundance of boxes in all shapes & sizes for you, most importantly they are free. All you need to do is speak to the Duty Manager and ask him / her if they have any old boxes that they no longer require. Also, local convenience stores are always looking to offload their old packaging so try those as well.

Utilize suitcases
Clothes can easily be packed into suitcases for easy transportation.

Room Coordinate

Concentrate on one room at a time, you'll thank us later!! This will enable each room to be unpacked more efficiently when the removal company deliver your items to your new property. So when packing and removing, make sure they are only putting the boxes from that room on the truck. (Again you'll thank us later!!)
